The first day of the event focused on the latest developments of the European Defence Fund (EDF), highlighting funding opportunities, offering practical guidance on navigating the application process, and fostering collaboration in defence research and innovation. This year’s Info Days attracted approximately 5,000 participants from across the European defence and innovation ecosystem, including representatives from EU Member States, Norway, and Ukraine.

During the discussions, reference was also made to the upcoming Hellenic EDF Info Day 2026, organised by the Hellenic Centre for Defence Innovation S.A. (ELKAK), scheduled to take place on Thursday, 19 March 2026, in Athens. The event aims to bring together stakeholders interested in EDF opportunities.

On the second day, representatives from NCSR “Demokritos” participated in a dynamic international networking environment, engaging with experts and innovators to form new defence R&D consortia and shape future project ideas. Through thematic pitch sessions, they exchanged perspectives, explored potential collaborations, and discussed project proposals contributing to the next generation of defence innovation.
